Reginald McIntyre, DVM:
He is a Missouri native who grew up on a farm, not far down Highway 160, in Lockwood.
Dr. McIntyre graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May of 2000. He graduated as the Senior Class President and earned multiple honors during his studies including: Who’s Who Among College Students, The National Dean’s List, Dr. Newton B. Tennille award for the ability to be resourceful in finding solutions to problems & the American Animal Hospital Association Senior Student Award for outstanding clinical proficiency in small animal medicine and surgery.
Dr. McIntyre is a veterinarian with 18 years of experience in both General Practice and Emergency and Critical Care. He has worked as a General practitioner for 9 years and an Emergency & Critical Care Clinician for 9 years. He has practiced at Carlson Pet Clinic in Springfield and Cobblestone Veterinary Hospital in Nixa during the last 7 years. He has a wealth of knowledge learning various techniques, and surgical skills during that time. Dr. McIntyre loves the Willard area and the people he has met and plans on making Willard Veterinary Hospital his permanent home.
He is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association & Missouri Veterinary Medical Association.
Reginald and his wife Shelly have been married 22 years and have two beautiful daughters. They are members of the North Nixa Baptist Church where Reginald is a Deacon. They have a menagerie of pets including a dog named Rue, a cat named Twinkle Rose, a cockatiel named Prince Charming.
Laura Hilton, DVM:
Dr. Hilton was born and raised in House Springs, a suburb of St. Louis, MO. She always knew that she wanted a career working with animals. After graduating in the top ten of her class in High School, Dr. Hilton attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. There, she received the Dean's list award four years in a row, among other honors, earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree with an emphasis in Animal Sciences. Dr. Hilton graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 receiving many Veterinary Scholarships including the Pfizer Animal Health Externship scholarship.
Dr. Hilton has experience with large and small animal medicine working in a mixed animal practice for 3 years. She really enjoyed working with 4-H youth and local community programs for livestock and County fair shows. Moving to Springfield, Dr. Hilton worked for 4 years at a highly respected progressive small animal hospital. Dr. Hilton is looking forward to meeting everyone in the Willard community and connecting more with her clients to provide a more personalized care to her patients.
She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, and is a Fear Free Certified Professional.
Laura and her husband, Jason, have two beautiful children. They love spending time outdoors, hiking, watching movies and exploring the Ozarks as a family. A bucket list goal is to visit a zoo in every state!
